Agapio Angel was born from a simple belief: that honey wine — mead, the oldest drink known to humankind — deserved to be tasted again the way kings and queens once knew it. We took an ancient recipe and gave it the patience it asks for.
Every bottle is produced and bottled in Denmark from pure local honey, then aged six months in oak barrels. Nothing is rushed. The oak rounds the honey, the honey softens the oak, and time does the rest.
Three characters, one family. Luna, a semi-dry mead with exotic, fruity hints. Soma, semi-sweet and floral, perfect beside a dessert. Svar, a deep and subtle dry mead for a fuller meal. Each is 12% vol, honest and unhurried.
